Daily Goals for January 31, 2011

I can't believe it's February tomorrow! This month has just flown by.

Today I need to go to Joann's and pick up some more fabric for my projects. I accidentally picked up 18 ct oatmeal fabric instead of the 14 ct. I also seem to need one more antique white color for the "Boy Tubby' project. I will start the 'Girl Tubby' project here in a few minutes. Then head to Joann's after I get ready. Then come back and start 'Brushin' Teeth' and 'Boy Tubby. I think before I head to Joann's I will make a list of the fabric I still need. I know I need another platinum colored fabric as I needed two when I went the last time and they only had one in stock. I do not have to work tonight so I should get quite a bit of stitching done. I think I will just focus on working on stitching today. I may work on project #1 'Precious Cargo' tonight for awhile as my goal for this week is to finish that project. Here I go!

January 30, 2011 Update

Hello! I got so much stitching done yesterday after work. I got my mistake unstitched and redid it. It really didn't take too long and as long as you go slow with the metallic thread it doesn't do too bad and looks fantastic. So yesterday I finished the mirror, got the sink stitched and most of the hand towel off to the side. I just have the boy to do, the mouse and a lot of backstitching to do. Then that project will be done! GO ME!!

Well I need to write out my post for today's goals and get busy stitching.

Update for January 29, 2011

Well I haven't been very motivated to stitch the last few days. I got started on project #6 a very nites ago and then realized that I was using the wrong color fabric. Luckily I hadn't stitched too much before I noticed it. So I did a bit of frogging and got project #6 started last nite on the right color fabric. I have been working steadily on this since about noon. I actually did something that is on my "Want To Try" list. I used metallic thread for the first time. It's slow going but it looks fantastic. However, I just realized that I made a huge mistake. I was suppose to do the metallic stitching in half stitches not full stitches so I'm gonna have to do some frogging again. I don't know how long it will take because of the metallic thread. I'm going to put it up for now as I have to work in about an hour. I will pick it up again after I get home from work which will be around 9 pm. Just wanted to update you!
